My university classmate invited me to design her wedding invitation, and this was the first time that I tried a different type of designing.

Concept

In traditional Taiwanese culture, wedding invitations do not typically involve a design process as there are already many design templates that people can choose from. Nonetheless, I hoped to go beyond the traditional designs and printing method in which I chose to use translucent card with retro European style gold foil blocking.

Logo Concept

I created a one and only special logo that comprised of the couple's initials (Jack and Debbie). This wedding invitation combines both elements from the Eastern and Western culture.
