OVERVIEW
This a popular South Korean crime film, which is one of my favorite films. I was fascinated by the father's affection towards his family, as well as the shooting techniques. Oldboy won the Grand Prix at the 2004 Festival de Cannes. In 2013, the film was remade by the well-known director, Spike Lee.

Concept
My visual design is based on the corridor of the imprisoned scene. In the film, the elevator door is the gateway of the imprisoned area, which is also the place where the father fights with the criminals. Thus, I chose the corridor as the focus of my visual work.
Design Thinking
Inregards to the font, I tried to construct a sense of violence from the revenge by using mottling effects of blood. For the color of the background and corridor, I created an overwhelming effect using grain blending.
